Experiencing a culture in different ways
The second week started and the time is running by. The first week at our customer was an amazing experience since I have never worked before with Childrens having Cerebral Palsy. We had a very warm welcome in the center and it is amazing to see how everybody works together. We even had an small Deepavali Festival at the center with all the childrens. Experiencing this I would love to encourage all of the blog Readers to have a look at the following URL:

Take your time for the "short" movie. Amazing what is possible if you really want it!
Yesterday after work we went to the Nine Emperor Gods "Kew Ong Yah" Festival. It was amazing to experience the a different culture and beeing part of it.
Please see the following link for a Kew Ong Yah picture - I also uploaded different new ones into the same album:

We got our Statements of Work
The first one is a bad one. We just heard last week that Subodh is not able to come to Penang due to a new assignment.
The good news is that we got our statement of works. The group of 9 will be split in 6 Projects at 5 different customers. Together with Masaru I am going to work with the Cerebral Palsy (Spastic) Children's Association of Penang. Our Goal will be to teach the stuff about different technical products.
It is really getting time to depart to take the challenge and help!

Amazing! The challenge starts
this is were my CSC Team Malaysia 2 Blog starts. It is now exactly 2 weeks ago since I got my "congratulation" mail from Eric who is our team facilitator.
My first thoughts?
YYyiiiiiiippppppiiiiiiieeeeeeeee - I am going to Malaysia!
I was totally speechless and immediately told everybody what happened which was kind
of complicate because a lot of people did not know I was on the waiting list or did not know what CSC is.
After some checks with my team lead and my travel office (I just booked a private trip exactly at the time were I should go to Malaysia) everything was setup and I was able to tell Eric I will join the team.
At this evening I got a lot of emails which explained our pre-work and how everything will work and the most amazing part: I got the list of all the team members. 10 people from 10 different countries from all over the world: New Zealand, India, Japan, Russia, China, USA, Italy, Spain, France and obvious Germany.
What an amazing challenge! Let's see what happens in the next weeks!
